Bennett T. Amaechi is a professor of Dentistry and Director of Cariology in the Department of Comprehensive Dentistry of the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA). He specializes in three areas of Dentistry, Prosthodontics, Preventive Dentistry and Cariology (caries management). He received his Dental degree at the University of Ife, Nigeria. Amaechi began his career as a Dentist with specialist training and Master’s degree in Prosthodontics and Dental Implantology at Guy’s Hospital, University of London, UK, and he later gained a PhD degree in Cariology and Preventive Dentistry at the University of Liverpool, UK. He has authored several journal articles, a book on dental erosion, 11 book chapters, and 12 conference proceedings. He is a highly accomplished Dentist, Scholar, Educator and a dedicated mentor, who touches the careers of many faculty and students within and outside his institution, and at International level in more than 12 countries. Amaechi was honoured with Faculty Leadership Award (2014) by the UTHSCSA Faculty Senate in recognition of his leadership qualities and accomplishments, teaching excellence award (2015) by UTHSCSA Dental school, Humanitarian/community service award (2015) by his local community, and Membership of Faculty of Dental Surgery by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (2016).

Prof. Dr. Michael Stark specializes in Obstetrics and Gynecology. His main interest is gynecological oncology. He initiated the VIEZION project which combines targeted chemotherapy, PIF and stem-cell therapy for improving post-surgical oncological treatment. Prof. Stark is currently the scientific and medical advisor of ELSAN, a 120 hospital group in France and is a guest scientist at the Charite’s University Hospital in Berlin. Since 2004 he has been the President of the New European Surgical Academy (NESA), an international inter-disciplinary surgical organization with members in 54 countries and a formal cooperation agreement with FIGO concerning transmission of knowledge to countries with limited resources. In 2011, Prof. Stark was nominated as the Medico Del Anno (Doctor of the Year) in Italy, and is an Honorary Member of the French, Polish, Russian and Italian Gynecological Associations. In the years 1983-2000 he was the medical director and head of Ob/Gyn department of the Misgav Ladach General Hospital in Jerusalem, and between 2001 and 2009 the chairman of all Ob/Gyn departments of the HELIOS Hospital Group in Europe. He was the scientific director of the European novel Tele-surgical system. He was visiting Professor at the Universities of Toronto, Moscow, Beijing, Milan, Adana, Uppsala and the Weill-Cornell University hospital in New York. He modified operations like the vaginal and abdominal hysterectomy and Cesarean Section and developed the concept of single-entry natural orifice surgery. He was involved in the development of the trans-oral thyroidectomy and TransDouglas abdominal surgery.

Dr. HC has been a full professor and director of the ASKLEPIOS Science Center for five years at the Design, Research, and Production Center of Medical and Dental Engineering ASKLEPIOS Ltd. in Gliwice, Poland. At the same time, he is a professor at the Department of Biomedical Engineering of the Koszalin University of Technology in Koszalin, Poland. He worked in the years 1971to 2017 at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice (1971-2017) as a full professor (1995-2017). He is the president of the World Academy of Materials and Manufacturing Engineering WAMME, vice president of the Engineering Academy in Poland and a foreign member of the Engineering Academy of Ukraine and Slovakia, editor-in-chief of the Journal of Achievements in Materials and Manufacturing Engineering JAMME, and Archives of Materials Science and Engineering AMSE. He is a member of Editorial Boards, incl. at Taylor & Francis, MDPI, ASTM International, and others. Edda Tobiasch, female, molecular biologist, graduated from biology department, Technical University Kaiserslautern. Dr. Tobiasch worked as post-doc on signal transduction pathways at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) in Heidelberg, the Research Center Karlsruhe, and the University of Heidelberg. She was Instructor at Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA and is now professor of the Department of Natural Sciences, Bonn-Rhine-Sieg University of Applied Sciences.
